Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Cartridge Circuit Board: Advanced UV

This is an unpopulated circuit board you can use to make your own homebrew Sega Genesis / Mega Drive games, or repair old games that no longer work. This circuit board design uses the older UV EPROMs, 27C322 or 27C160. With this board, unlike the flash version, you need to program the EPROM before soldering to the board.

This cartridge is made entirely from off the shelf components. No donors are required. You will need to purchase components and solder them to the board yourself. This cartridge covers over 95% of the entire Genesis library. You can backup games up to 4 MB in size, with up to 32 KB RAM. It can also handle any ROM hack that falls into these limits, including the ever popular Sonic 3 Complete. Check out the Game Compatibility page in the wiki for more info.

This project is open source, so if you would like to order your own from the PCB manufacturer of your choice, the files are available in the GitHub repository. Just be sure to match the exact specifications as listed (thickness, surface finish, etc).
